CTeXplorer

CTeXplorer is an interactive, adaptive visualization tool that allows users to upload descriptive data about a set of related clinical trials and then to interactively explore complex differences between their designs. Trial data can be filtered using sliders and check boxes to present views of clinical trial eligibility criteria, interventions, and outcomes based on the selected parameters. Users can identify related clinical trials using CTSearch.

CTeXplorer is an early prototype and several features are not fully functional. With the recent release of the NCBO’s Annotator service, researchers plan to develop CTeXplorer further by annotating trial information and incorporating the use of semantic hierarchies. This tool is made by collaborators at UC San Francisco and the University of Victoria.
