This seminar will cover ongoing projects at the University of Victoria to improve cognitive support for user navigation of ontologies. As a follow-up to the NCBO's recent project meeting in December at Stanford University, the presenter will demonstrate specific aspects of the visualization tools we have developed for browsing ontologies, for creating ontology mappings and for searching clinical trials.
Suggestions and discussion on how these tools could be further improved or tailored to specific needs will be welcome during the presentation.
