A conference to be held at the Zebro Conference Hall located in the Roswell Park Cancer Institute Center for Genetics and Pharmacology (Buffalo, New York).

Sponsored by the Ontology Research Group of the University at Buffalo Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences.

The conference will facilitate scholarly exchange and development concerning the nature and classification of psychiatric diseases, as well as their appropriate computational rendering and storage, especially in light of continual revisions to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), the authoritative text in the psychiatric domain.

Provisional list of speakers with tentative titles:

  • Dominic P. Murphy, Senior Lecturer in the Unit for History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Sydney.
